If he hasn't already got it, I would suggest one of the "Original...."
books. It all depends on what type MG Dad owns. If it's an MGB then
"Original MGB" by Chausager and if it's a Midget then "Original Sprite
& Midget" by Horler. I have both of these and find them to be the best
reference books on these cars. I believe there are similar versions for
the T series and MGAs as well. You can order by phone 607-988-7956 from
BritBooks and probably use Mom's credit card.
OR you can buy him a year's membership ($25) to North American MGB
Register. Again you can use Mom's credit card and call toll free
1-800-NAMGBR-1 and leave your name (or in this case, dad's name),
address, phone #, E-mail address, type of card, card # and expiration
date. You will receive a confirmation via e-mail with-in 48 hours.
