Actually, I think Comptune do hot road heads as well. A quick check of
the Winner's Circle web site will verify it (or not).

Unfortunately there is *no* way to verify that the head is anything
in particular (except its casting type). To see if it is likely to be a
comptune head, you's have to know what their porting philosophy
was, what size valves it has, etc etc etc. You'd have to recognize
whether ot not the resulting port shapes are good or not etc.

A receipt would help a little, but even then was the receipt for *this*
head? Or is this a poor man's imitation?

If it was me, I'd be valuing the car on the basis of an unknown quantity
for the engine (except for how well it runs).
