Rene, there has been a frank exchange of views on tyre size quite a number of times on this list. Most listers had no trouble with 185/70. However, a friend -classic car garage keeper with 30 years experience - is adamant that the bearings will wear out fast. Can't confirm this. If you want the car regularized to local law ( in Belgium: "gehomologeerd" ), factory standard tyres are required. Certainly, a B can use more grip than with the 165's .
