Don't forget about the seals in the engine as well. My 78 sat since 1985,
and now needs an engine rebuild as a result. Lousy compression, geyser-like
oil leaks from the crankcase breather, etc...

I have already invested more money than my car is worth, with about double
what I have spend still needing to be spent. With MGs, rarely is it a
matter of being cost-effective, so forget about "Breaking even" when trying
to sell.

It is a hobby, and therefore be treated accordingly. Don't jump blindly
into a car -- with what I have spent, I could EASILY have a restored MGB,
perhaps even a "rough" MGA.

Again, if anyone has a spare engine, drop me a line. =)
