Larry,
Interestingly enough I don't know. It has become automatic. I know I put my
right hand on the transmission tunnel and slip under the steering wheel.
Left foot on the ground, and lever myself up. I don't remember what I use
for leverage, but you can bet that I'll be aware from now on and keep away
from the windscreen.
I think I put one hand on the seat back and one on the windscreen. Both the
C and the Healey have large steering wheels that make it a bit difficult.
Only the BGT makes it easy.
