I believe this was just discussed although I could be wrong. The Canadian
version had the number ofn the dash plaque because there was a specific
limit to the number of LE's imported to Canada. The US version was limited
to the number sold so there was no number on the plaque. If memeroy serves
I beleive it has been posted that 6000 + LE's were sold in the US. If I am
in error I appologize in advance...
