Dear Paul,

I've decided to just replace that Old SU pump with a new electronic one
from Pep Boys. I wish to avoid bending or altering the original tubes when
I emplace the new pump. I bought 2 1.5 foot lengths of 3/8 inch braided
fuel line and the nifty fittings that mate with the original tubes so that
I have some leeway as to where I bolt the new pump. Any suggestions?

I am waiting until we get a "cool" day here in Hades so that the fuel I
spill will not immediately vaporize and explode! Any suggestions as to how
to minimize fuel spillage short of draining the tank?
