Don't worry I know this is the MGB journals. I have two odd things to write
about. Wife's car, 90 Jaguar XJ 4.0 Sovereign had a wheel bearing failure the
other day. As I replaced the parts I found the front spindle wheel bearing
seal is fixed into a non rotational status on the spindle housing. Being July
4, I was happy to get anything. Is this the new standard practice? I have
never heard of such an animal let alone worked this type of seal. Second, by
the way, the jaguar dealer wants $72.00 for a front crankshaft seal. Does
anyone have a lower cost part / number.
