Carol,
The picture on the cover of Original MGA is definitely Iris Blue. Same
car as on pg 13 and identified as such. My roadster has the original
color coded in the serial number and is identified as Glacier Blue.
Archaeological samples of that color found under others are definitely a
deeper turquoise shade.
For what it's worth, the other blue, Mineral Blue, is almost a royal
blue. This is the color of my coupe.
Both of the cars mentioned in the web sites "could" be Iris blue. Color
shades in photos are deceptive. Especially when scanned and projected on
the video displays.
