How can I check wear on my cam? Looking at the valves come up by the rocker gear seems very unscientific as proving a definitive cam wear problem. Looking at the cam because my poor TD with 50,000 miles(but over 31 years) was very down on power last weekend after a club outing. Compression is #165,130,125,130. Oil pressure 45# hot. Could I be getting some valve recession in head? What's the cure? Cheeers, Dave Houser |
