And we cannot forget about the neon license plate brackets and under
frame glow bars. Although I have to say, my stock '87 rice burner
(300zx) handles quite well without being "too" fast or being a mechanical
nuisance (this leaves me time to putz around with the next item on my
"needs to be done to the MG list"). And on a side note, I've gotten
quite a few looks from women in the passenger seats of their boyfriend's
(see sports car list above). THere's something about a MG that just
makes people (of all ages) smile and show interest. Maybe its the aura of
British cars.

THat corolla sure would be cheaper to maintain, BUT if the two cars (An
mg a,b midget, etc) and a corolla were parked side by side in the
driveway with the keys in them, I wonder what percentage of people would
get in the corolla vs the LBC. My bet would be that many more people get
in the MG (across ages, gender, and nationality) than the corolla (READ
any japanese car, sedan, sports car, or otherwise).

Two things, 1. What's a DPOing, and 2. it's funny how all the
mainstreamers buy cars that are common, and then go out of their way to
make them uncommon by adding gaudy spoilers, tint and stickers, HUGE
mufflers with that annoying mosquito buzz, etc... The net result is a
large expense that lands you back in the spot where your car just blends
in next to all the other awefully gaudy and overdone cars.

I'm plenty happy sitting back and feeling the pleasant (albeit somewhat
uneven) vibration in my Midget steering wheel; soaking up strong sun
rays from my always open top, and even stonger envy rays from boyfriends
who catch their girlfriends looking at my non-mainstreamer.
