Its on the unit itself - more than that i cant tell you - im much too
scared to mess withe them!!! hehe but dont use reverse if the switch is
not functioning it will screw up the whole unit

Banging is not encouraging but seldom goes away after an oil change - id
be inclined to have a mechanic listen to it with a stethescope in case
theres a bearing problem
also if the head has been rebuilt due to heat, check theres no mixture of
oil and water due to warping - either in the radiator or the valve cover
