Hello, I just bought a rebuilt brake MC, all nice, new and shiny. I left it out on the porch last night and this morning it already had a thin film of rust on it. It's been raining here and it's pretty humid. What's the best way to protect parts like this from rust? I figure paint is a no-no, since it will be in contact with brake fluid. Will wax work, or is there some other accepted method of protection? TIA, Robert Weeks Durham NC 1969 Midget http://www.woozy.com/midget/ |
