What it was, Simon, was that the weather was so unbelievably beautiful =
in Minneapolis on Friday that MOWOG just wanted to punish you a little =
for driving a GT ;-)

Hello all,
since I was having such a nice time driving my B around, the evil MOWOG
decided to prevent me from becoming complacent. I had parked the car in
a parking ramp to visit Lorna (SO) for lunch on Friday. After a
pleasant lunch and a walk beside the river, (this sentence was added for
atmosphere, it has nothing to do with the subject of this message). I
went back to the parking ramp and attempted to start the car. I say
attempted because when I turned the key nothing happened. When I say
'nothing' I mean in the mechanical sense. The radio display did shut
off, as it normally does when starting. The headlights worked ok, so
the battery was not dead. I had a vague recollection of someone whose
car would not start due to a 'stuck' starter. I put the car in gear and
pushed and shoved a bit. When I got back in it started with no problem
at all. Now I am unsure of whether the pushing and shoving actually did
anything, or whether I just expended sufficient sweat and suffered the
right amount of mental anguish to appease MOWOG. Any ideas ?

Cheers,
Simon 74 B GT
