Well my problem has gone away. I replaced a few things...thermostat down to 180 from 195. I also installed a new radiator cap to replace the existing one which must have been 10 years old. Then I ran a new hose from the heater valve to the carb, bypassing the heater. The core leaks and I'm putting off replacing the heater since I hardly ever use it in Mississippi. Now it runs below/on the N in town and on the N on the highway @70. Thanks! -- Tyson Sherman http://www.tecinfo.com/~tsherman |
