61 Midget temp gauge

Can anyone tell me what is in the tube, and the bulb in the rad from the
temp gauge.

Can the temp gauge be repaired?

Has anyone repaired a temp gauge?

Would anyone have a temp gauge for a 61 midget lying around in working
condition
that they would like to part with?

Please let me know.

It is an oil pressure and water temp gauge combo.
