The wife's '95 Z28 wore out its water pump in 66,000 miles. This is the LT1 version of the small block, 350 cubic inch Chevy that has now been around for over 40 years. After all that time, Chevy has managed to get the repair cost up to $475. $276 for the pump. 3.5 hours of labor. The last thing that broke was it's air injection pump. That was a $350 repair.
