I rebuilt my master cylinder two years ago in my '79. Last year, it went out again, most likely due to pitting of the cylinder bore walls. So, I ordered a resleeved cylinder from Apple Hydraulics in NY. Cost me about $85, no hassles with trying to get the pistons out, or installing seals, just bolt it it. In my opinion, rebuilding it myself just wasn't worth the effort, especially when you consider that it only survived a year. Calvin Krug (standard disclaimer applies) |
