NGK v Champion spark plugs

Dear all,

            I got some scuttlebutt from a very old hand in the VSCC about
these plugs. It seems that NGK plugs do not readily recover from rich
running. This is important if you're messing about with the carbs.

  I switched to a harder grade of Champion last year and was surprised at
the difference. I run on larger diameter plugs in a vintage engine and so
my choice is limited.
