Does the $1295 include anything else? If this includes pulling the =
motor/transmission, rebuilding the tranny, or replacing with a rebuilt, =
and throw a clutch into the deal, this sounds reasonable - not a great =
deal, but reasonable to me. I am not a Midget guy, but I know my =
mechanic charges 10 hours to R&R a motor/tranny.

Sounds expensive to me. I'm looking at a catalog from British
Parts Direct and they get $675 with a 1 year guarantee. The catalog is a
few years old but I don't imagine that prices have doubled.BTW MGB's 3
syncro $595 and 4 syncro $495.
