Weber sidedraft intake blues

I recently bought a weber sidedraft for my 77B, complete with intake and
velocity stacks. I didn't pay for the intake, that was part of the $250
package, however....did I mention that I bought it in England....the
brake master cylinder is right in the way of my nice, pretty weber. I
found a place that sells just the intake (Moss and VB don't sell the
intake separately)...but it's a bit pricey....
Long and short of it, the classified ad reads like this:

For sale: one Weber DCOE intake for RHD MGB
Wanted: One Weber DCOE intake for LHD MGB

any contacts for a cheaper intake alternative??? Suppliers??
anyone who has a RHD but can't find a nice intake??
