Sorry, but I have to disagree. LBCs don't shrink - in fact they get larger.
That's why Tonneau covers don't fit after a few years!!!!

Yes, Ralph, they do. I notice that every MG I own or ride in shrinks over the
winter. It has nothing to do with a lack of exercise or the # of girl scout
cookies consumed. I am convinced that there is a small self-healing leak in
the garage, and the melting snow in combination with the extreme cold cause
them to shrink. It seems to take until mid July until the combination of heat
expansion and automotive exercise stretch those little jewels out again.
I cannot say whether this is a strictly northern phenomenon, but your
experience leads me to think not. In the spirit of science, however, I would
like to hear from others on the list to help determine whether or not this is
a universal condition.
