You see Charlie, if you owned an MGA you could just knock on your
floorboards ;-) Another example of newer not necessarily being better.

PS- along that line, the MGA has been sitting with the rear open for quite
a while so, as you can imagine, my garage has a definite gear oil bouquet
to it. My 12 year old daughter complained about the smell. I told her
that if she really wanted to attract the guys, she should put a little of
the stuff behind each ear instead of that other smelly stuff she seems to
prefer. Although this was funny at the time, I realise now that my logic
was somewhat flawed. In the first place, she is 12 and I don't want her
attracting boys. Secondly, she would just attract people like me (us) and
I have always hoped that she would do better ;-) Although, now that I think
about it, I can't think of a better class of people than those who
habituate this list.
