After a long time of inactivity, due to a complete dashboard renewal
accomplished during my very limited spare time, I've eventually enjoyed my
MGB. Unfortunately, I've found that the steering seems a lot stiffer than
it used to be, and lacks of self-centring effect (or, at least, it's
greatly reduced).
King-pins were greased few months ago...could it be that they need new
grease, or collapsing and re-mounting the steering column could have caused
that? (I unfastened the bracket under the instruments cowl, put the wheel
sitting on the driver seat, and then remounted as before).
Please HELP my great mg to become the great fun it was before!
