Hay John,

  I had a `70 B on which I put the Weber downdraft conversion w/auto
choke that you see adverted by Moss, et al.  As far as drivability with
no hassel, it beat the SUs all hollow.  I ran that setup for over five
years, trouble free.  O'course I got my setup in `78 for around $200
because I had a friend who ran a BritCar garage.  Dunno if I'd lay out
$400 for the kit today as I'm more interested in keeping my car
original.  

  I'd say, "If it runs well and looks like a clean and complete
installation, go for it."
