Hmmmmmm...... Interesting point, there is no PVC valve between the
timing chain cover and the weber, I had looked and asked around
about what is the correct PVC valve to use and no one seemed to
know. If it were bad rings or a cracked head, then the smoke *should*
be more or less constant, but I could see that oil could be getting
sucked into the intake manifold at idle, then seperating out to
the bottom of the manifold because it is heavier than air and gas.
Then when the throttle is stepped on the sudden rush of air and gas
would carry the oil into the combustion chamber.

So does anyone know what is the correct PVC to use with a weber DGV?

Unfortunately after a half hour or so on the highway the pressure
drops to 10 - 15 lb. This happens faster in the summer because the
engine runs hotter.
