A productive day.....
I actually did get the chores done - so the kids/dogs/cats can all eat
for another week
AND
The weather was so good i took all three cars for a spin - maybe its
just me, and maybe is because most cars on the road are filthy this time
of year but i got more
glances, thumbs ups, flashes(lights dammit) than i have for a while
The GT needs a tweak somewhere, it needs quarter choke to keep it idling
otherwise its fine, gave it a good blow on I95- - cruisin at 85....Ozzy
at 25!
The 72 hadnt run for a while and the battery was flat but it started
first crank and once again proved that an engine with worn bearings
drives better than a tight one any day
No "85" action for this one but of my 3 cars this one still drives the
best.
The 69 looks like a parts car now - Almost as much of it in the workshop
as is still on the road...I still havnt got the paint lined up - every
shop I've talked to either wont let me do any of the work, or, is too
busy to take it, or, the owners have attitudes (actually ive always found
that paint blokes are sullen sorts - must be all the fumes...)
As for you Mr Deutsch....why didnt you call? - I'd have been down there
with a tool kit in a flash!!!
