Hi. My experience has been a bad one with the silicon brake fluid. I
switched over a few years ago. Within a year I had to rebuild both master
cylinders, because the seal spoiled and started to leak. Upon buying
replacements the concensus was that I should NOT use silicon fluid in the
B. All mechanics and parts people I spoke with at the time told me not to
use it and that performance was unpredictable using silicon fluid. So, I
just use DOT5 Castrol fluid and have had no more problems.
