I think the thing is called a seat belt sequencer, when I couldn't get my
74B to fire I eventually traced the problem to this gizmo. The way I
understand it, if the seatbelts weren't fastened your car wouldn't crank.
At the time, I decided that that this was THE actual home of Sir Lucas
Prince of Darkness. If you gotta have it, jumper around it , if not , smash
it with a hammer, a big one.
