As a tag-on to this thread. What 12 volt battery size should be used in the
RB single compartment? I use the group 26 size in my Chromies but am not sure
what size I should use in the 76. There was a thread on this about 6 months
ago but since I did not have a RB at the time I tossed the info and can't
recall what it was (OF??)
Dr. Doug
The battery in the 76 now is almost falling out between the supports - it's
small!!!

Not some, ALL MGBs originally had twin 6v units, in the US these daysmany
if not most have been converted to single 12v however i gather not so in
England where a friend told me you cant get a 12v battery small enough
and have to buy the MGOC replacement twins at about 100 pounds a pair (i
suspect him of not looking far enough but since he paid the 100 i guess
it may be true)

Good Lord man - why not??

Cunningly concealed under the platform behind the seats

Actually yes - this is refreshing to have a simple question after trying
to count molecules for the last day or so and deciding maybe i should
have tried harder in physics
