Well, for my first question, I consider all years of the Corvette to 
be sports cars, but they didn't have a 1983 model.  Took too long to 
get the new body style out.
        As for the fibreglass question, all of the Corvettes have been 
fibreglass, back to the 1953 model, so that's my guess.
