Mike,
I've had a '77B for the last 3 years and my wife uses it as a daily drive=
r.
It was purchased with original paint, Tahiti Blue, and all the smoggy
stuff in place.
It has been relatively trouble free; alternator, starter, hoses, all the
things you would expect to have to be replaced were and I rebuilt the car=

Aside from an ungoing battle with the manifold to catalytic converter
joint, which with the help of all you people on the list I think I have
conquered, its been a great car. It is certainly worth more than the
$2,400. I paid for it.
Now that the weather here in NC has gotten colder, the car has been finic=

it out? The ZS carb auto choke was checked out and adjusted to spec with=
the marks on the heat body and choke aligned. It kicks and dies each tim=
e
the key is turned each time becoming more eager to run. Finally it start=
s
but any input from the accelerator will case it to die. The rpm will cre=

up from the 1000rpm and throttle input is then accepted.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Love the rubber bumpered B.
