  Rebuilding the Weber is no big deal. A lot of Volkswagen hop-up shops 
carry Weber rebuild kits for the DGV/DGAV.
  It is simple to rebuild if you are careful.
  Great news on the lack of rust, also.
  May this be the beginning of a long and enduring romance with your B.
