How do I get that switch out

Hello all,

I have a '69 Midget.  It has a broken headlight switch (the plastic rocker
type)  I pulled out the speedo (it was broken too) but I can't figure out
how to get that switch out.

Help me, before I put a pair of needle nose vise grips on that little wire
holder bit and have at it.

BTW- On this matter, the Haynes manual is as worthless as you know whats on
a boar.
