Hi Don: J.A.P. stands for James A(lexander?) Prestwich. They were major engine suppliers during the pre-war years in Britain. J.A.P. engines were used in many large displacement motorcycles and in the 3-wheel Morgan among others. John McEwen >I've been reading about Morgans and the book says they used a "J.A.P." >engine. What does that stand for? > >Thanks-- > >Don Mathis,Ph.D. >donmathis@lucent.com >'61 MGA >'37 Derby Bentley (B190KT) |
