Hope this goes thru this time. New to the list and not having much luck
having anything posted.
Had occasion to have the rad repaired and removed the temp sensor. It ju=
st
slid out of a bushed hole in the rad header. Previous owner had gooped i=
t
in place and put short section section of rad hose, compressed laterally,=
between the rad top hose and the sensor to hold it in place.
Put it back, using the same piece of hose and a little silicone gasket
mat'l around the sensor flange. After a hundred miles or so, the sensor
had eased out ca 1/8". Worked out a mod that will hopefully keep
everything together.
Please, what normally holds this little bugger in? =
