Need something with an 'O' - hmmm. Seems to me you ought to get a few of the
listers to send you their picture so you can show the kids what an Old Fart
looks like.

In defense of the book and my definition of it, I was trying to produce
something
that wasn't too marque-ish. The T-series cars were left out to make room for
a nifty
TR3A. Just look at the MG's I used: MGB, since everyone knows or should know
what
these are; MG NA filled a gap for the letter 'N'; MG WA filled the 'W' gap;
and
finally, the Y-type filled the gap at 'Y'. It's not a matter of "This car is
a
classic and this one isn't"; it came down more to logistics and filling 26
letters of
the alphabet with old cars rather than what is best. Trust me, there are
plenty of
cars that deserve to be in every classic car book that mine excludes.
However, it's
the concept of "A to Z Classics" that comes up a winner over a definitive and
comprehensive work. So, I hope I haven't _really_ offended anyone by leaving
their
favorite car out, it's just one of those things that an author has to do.
*sigh*
So, does anyone have any .BMP pictures of a classic Oldsmobile that they could
direct
me to or send to me? If you could send them, along with a brief description
of the
car and why it's a classic to me, I'll probably use it. My "O" isn't cutting
it,
so Oldsmobile it is, unless someone knows of another "O" car that I could use?
Thanks again!
