On my 21st birthday my Automobile Association next door neighbour gave me a gallon tin of Swarfega. It lasted me for years and eventually the bottom rusted out. One time I had to replace the head gaskets on a Scimitar GTE (Ford V6) in the winter and couldn't shut the garage doors 'cos the back of the car was sticking out to give me room to work on the front. It was so cold at the time I had to break the ice on the Swarfega before I could clean my hands. PaulH. |
