How do these companies line up folk for such clinics? Surely the F would
be niche vehicle, and would require an assortment of nicheish folk?

Seems I remember reading about Miata sales dropping, which has caused
various other car companies to re-examine sportscar production as a whole.
One result being low-volume efforts such as the F, Prowler, and so forth.

This could be okay, if it means the prissy, luxury stuffed
hairdresser cars will be BMWs, and perhaps leaner, feistier, truly SPORT
cars would be MGs. I think the fact that MGs were always somewhat terrier
like in deriving as much from as little as possible always appealed to me.
And if we're not willing to forsake a bit of comfort for ultimate handling
and performance, then we oughta just buy any of the damned competent sports
sedans on the market nowadays -- the only other reason for buy a 2 seat
sports car would be because we don't like carrying other people about.
