I recently aquired a 1976 MGB (my first LBC). PO seemed quite honest about problems, one of them being the malfunctioning overdrive. He says it works well in cold weather. I've found it doesn't work at all in warm weather. Tranny oil is fresh and topped up. Any suggestions? I use the car as a daily commuter and would prefer that the overdrive work in all weather.
