Aloha from the 50th state !!!!!!!

First off i would like to thank Larry,Skip,Arthur,Bill and Tom for there
input on the subject of low oil pressure. This is the real story of the oil
pressure or lack of it.Before yanking out the engine and going for the GOLD
SEAL deal,i went to the local NAPA store and bought a wet type oil pressure
gauge . This gauge has threads that are the same as the bracket on the
engine block,so i removed the sending unit and screwed the gauge right into
it.Started the car and 65 psi and after 5 or 7 minutes the car is up to
normal operating temp. pressure is 35 psi and not all the way on 0 psi with
the sending unit. So i have the sending unit in hand and i clean it off and
begin to inspect it i notice that the male spade on the top of the unit is
loose and i can turn it a little,so i rotate the spade connection til it
becomes tight .Install it back on the car and start it up and it is reading
the same as the wet type gauge, took the car for a drive and it is working
normal for once.

I BOUGHT AN NOTHER MG YESTERDAY! 1974 MGBGT CHERRY (condition)

This car is so nice i get pleasure from just looking at it!!!!!!!!!!

Only kidding , Get the car insured and it will be my daily driver. So i can
put up the 77 roadster for new every thing body wise. After 12 years it's
about time.
