I wouldn't advise this.
Connecting the PCV valve on an A series engine makes a world of difference
to the amount of oil leakeage (note I didn't say "eliminate":-)  out of
the rear of the engine.
I would connect the orig. PCV valve to the timing cover and then connect
the other end to the Weber manifold.  This would be the same setup as with
the SUs and it is easy to add a fitting to the intake mainfold (do remove
the manifold for this to avoid getting aluminum pieces into the engine).
