I've got the aftermarket air conditioner system for the MGB, and living
here in New Orleans, I NEED IT !!! However, I'm trying to install the
components and I have a couple of questions:
1) Where do the two hoses going to the evaporator unit under the dash go
through the firewall ???
2) Who manufactured this system ?
3) Does anyone out there have this system so I can ask more questions ??
Kinda strange (to me) that most of you northerners complain about not
being able to drive your LBCs in the winter, when for me, it's just the
opposite. It's so damn hot down here that I don't drive my MGB in the
summer but joyously tool around in the absolute bone chilling (NOT)
winter temperatures of 45 to 50 degrees. The MGB heater works just fine
for that. Hopefully with the addition of an AC, I'll be able to enjoy
the B all year round.
