I can't speak for MGA's exclusively,
but nearly every radiator cap I've ever seen uses the same shape - it's
only the pressure rating that's different - so generic is fine.

Get an expansion tank from a rubber bumper car and run the over flow =
into it, then put at least say 7lb cap on it, maybe 13lbs. It needs to =
be the cap for a B not the A, the lengths are different
I can't speak for MGA's but for Spridgets with the older vertical-flow =
radiators generic Radiator caps are too short. The top of the cap seats =
fine but the spring does not press the bottom of the cap down far enough =
and you have an atmospheric pressure system. Given Lanes comment, you =
should make sure that whatever you use fits. =20
