In the Nutmeg State, Connecticut, the Hill-Stead museum, formerly an
elegant estate, has a collection of Impressionist paintings by Monet,
Manet, Degas, Whistler and Cassatt, and a collection of Chinese
porcelains, Japanese woodblock prints and original furnishings.
The LBC content is that the 4-Cs car club is putting on a car show,
which includes the CT MG Club and a passle of others. The story was
worth 1/2 page in the Sunday NY Times, so it sounds like a good event.
Admission is $10, which includes driver, passengers, and two free
museum admission passes.
