Well Trevor was correct on one thing only...and that was the SMTP protocol
which I failed to take into account.  It does take make a direct connection
between the sender and receiver.  But this is still subject to the number
of routers it goes thru or hops, the more hops it takes the slower it is.

Unlike Trevor I have a wonderful trait, and that is the ability to admit
when I am wrong.

I was only wrong concerning SMTP, which is my fault.  Trevor, now which
part of this will you dispute?
