I am in total agreeance (sp?)! However if my parents offered me a new car
I would say yeah, then I would sell it and buy 2-3 more LBCs...

My parents didn't buy my MG, I did...but they are now contributing to the
cost of restoration. I didn't ask for them to help out with money, they
offered! I am currently looking to get another LBC (hey Carol, found an
MGA!, might buy it).
All my parents expect in return is that I don't bring engine parts into my
bedroom, and that I don't rebuild the rear axle in the living room. Oh and
they want an occasional ride or two.
Maybe I'll ask for a the racing wheels I want for Christmas! (yeah right....)

I have no idea where this thread got started...but I couldn't agree more
with the points you have made. My parents were a bit skeptical when I
said, "hey I am want to buy an MG", but later they become more
excepting...and now I think they are hooked!
I can name one other 15 (or is he 16) yearold MG enthusiast more
enthusiastic then I am, and if anyone ever meets Adam Schellinck, you will
be in for a surprise...great kid!
