Well It's not a 36 year old female Elvis!
I've seen it in Bob Allen's "toybox inventory" and I was curious...
So in case anyone else wondered, from "A-Z of Sports Cars" by Mike
Lawrence (credit where it is due:)
ELVA Courier MkI/II 1958-1961 production approx. 700
Frank Nichols, the manufacturer, said that it helped if the owner had a
waterproof head and a pneumatic bum. Yep, it's British. Fiberglass body
over tubular steel frame, coil springs all around, live axle rear, front
disc brakes, BMC B-series engine. This was a road car that was
successfully raced and is said to have excellent handling (and a cramped
cockpit.) There was no picture of the early cars but the MkIII looked
somewhat Elan-ish
There were also Elvas that were strictly racers with widely varying
specifications.
I used to be curious, now I think I'm jealous .

Any fixed object will do for stopping but for deceleration, you really
need brakes.
