Vaseline on the car post

I deleted too quickly the post yesterday about the genteman remembering his
grandfather putting vaseline on the front of the car to keep the bugs from
sticking. 
Anybody still got this post that can resend it to me? It fits in with
something a friend related to me last week and he'll crack up if I can get it
to him.
