Kai,
Sorry to have missed you at the show. Both Larry and I figured you had to go
to the shore.
The Allard you saw was a replica as was the Aston Martin next to it - but they
were both pretty good looking.
Next - MG on the Rocks

Subject: Taste of Britain...Great Show!
Hey everyone:
I went to TOB today, it was an outstanding and well organized show. I
would like to congratulate everyone who had a hand in setting up and
preparing for TOB.
I did see a few list members cars, but do to the magnitude of the show and
the short time limit I had, I wasn't able to meet to many people. I saw
and spoke to Rick Brown...I saw Dr. Doug's MGC, and a few other cars I
recognized.
For those who didn't go, you should add this to your events list for next
year! An excellent all around show. Although my dad was more interested
in the BMW Z3 and motorcycle in the parking lot.
My new car quest: an Allard J2X, this is the first time I have seen the car
in person and I love it. Also saw a MGB GT V8 (real), which was (I
believe) at the Clinton, NJ show also. I think the Sunbeams out numbered
the Spitfires and GT6s, and the Bugeyes were plentiful. The ugliest thing
at the show, was a Hot Rodded Austin Sedan...yuck!
Cheers,
KMR
